WYOMISSING,爸爸. — 宾州州立银行 is now offering an integrated accounting degree program, which will allow students to earn both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in just five years and pay undergraduate tuition for both degrees. The program is offered in conjunction with the master of professional accounting degree at Penn State Great Valley.
The integrated undergraduate-graduate (IUG) accounting degree program allows students to apply up to 12 credits toward both degree requirements, providing a more affordable option to earning a master’s degree. GMAT or GRE scores are not required.
Eligibility for the IUG program requires that students must have completed at least 60 credits to apply, and transfer students must have completed at least 15 Penn State credits. Graduate courses delve into competencies covered in the CPA and CMA exams, including regulation, financial accounting and reporting, audition and attestation, and business environment and concepts. Throughout the program, students will have access to Becker CPA Exam Review courses.
Current accounting majors at 宾州州立银行, in collaboration with the United Way of 博克斯 County, are working with Centro Hispano Daniel Torres in 阅读, 宾西法尼亚, to complete free electronic tax filing. The collaboration allows community members to save money on high fees and commissions charged by commercial tax organizations.
